Neat Old Round Spice Tin with 6 Spice Tins

This salefeatures a wonderful antique primitive round japanned tin spice box with 6 spicetins. These boxes were used in a time when spices were used to preserve andenhance flavor of foods that could become rancid due to lack of modernrefrigeration. As spices were expensive, these boxes were locked until ready touse. There are six tins inside, 3 of which have legiblenames---\"cloves\", \"ginger\", and \"pepper\". Size ofthe box is 7\" diameter, and 3¼\" tall. The 5 larger tins are 2½\"tall by 2¼\" diameter. The smaller tin in the center is 2½\" tall by 1¾\"diameter. Condition is pretty good for its age and use. There is wear and somescratches here and there. Please see the pictures.
