Antique Shirtwaist Corset Cover Camisole
circa 1900This lovely shirtwasit style camisole is an immediately wearable piece, in very good condition. Three small buttons don the bodice, the front of which is very \"blousey\" and pleated. Moreover, the front of this piece is a full 2 inches longer than the back, hence the \"shirtwaist\" effect. There is a enclosed tie which can be cinched at the waist. The lace edge on the neck & arms is fully intact. There is a faint \"stamp\" from the original maker on the lower center area of the bodice; I was unable to make this \"stamp\" out, and would welcome any information or ideas as to what it is. The color of the cotton fabric is quite uniform, and free of any damage/loss. There is a small spot of yellow near the 3rd button (see last picture). It was hard to find flaws with this piece, otherwise. It\'s just in really great condition and a lovely piece of antique history! Measurements (I would call this a small):
- 30\" bust
- 14\" length down front
- 12\" length down back
- ~25\" waist
- 7\" armhole circumfrence
