Listed is a darling antique Effanbee doll, made circa 1930-40s. This doll measures 13\" and has a cute chubby composition body and head. The head and body are both marked Effanbee. I believe this doll was Effanbee\'s \"Candy Kid\", a sweet little doll in excellent original condition. The doll\'s facial and body finish and coloringare in exceptionally good condition. The coloring is bright and there are no cracks or crazing or breaks. The doll\'s sleep eyes have full lashes and are clear and her molded and painted hair is perfect, with no cracks. Her fingers and toes are intact with no chips.Her stringing is a little loose, not to bad. She is wearing her original cotton print dress with attached pants and matching bonnet. The doll and her clothing are immaculately clean and comes from a nonsmoking home. No bad odors. This doll was part of a doll collection owned by Mrs. Willis Haviland Carrier, whose husband produced the first Carrier air conditioning for the mass market.
