What we have here is an antique coin knife made by ELOI in France andthe bladeis so marked. The coin is an 1826 5 franc silver piece as shown. There are remnants of the coin\'s original edge markings around the rim of the knife. The blade is quite sharp and the file and scissors are very nice. The file is marked EPOSE and also has what appears to be a small hall mark. The faces of the coin show wear commensurate with its age and probable use. It has all of the marks associated with ELOI manufacture. Thanks for offerding, R.W.
