“Sutherland table is a form of drop leaftable, but the central section is very narrow, so when it is folded down itoccupies little space, but gives a large usable surface when open. First recorded around 1850, they are said tobe named for Harriet, Duchess of Sutherland, who was a favorite lady in waitingof Queen Victoria”…

~Super slender with largetiger oak grain on the big leaves~
~Full length panels on each end with bracket feet and a thick, wide trestlestyle stretcher for stability and support~
~BARLEY TWIST LEGS on the gates!!!!~

~THIS TABLE IS HEAVY, SOLID OAK, wellbuilt by craftsmen of the period~
