Up for sale is this beautiful and early Friemann & Wolf miner\'s safety lamp. The lamp is cast iron and brass and has a beautiful patina. Its has some dents and uneven paint. Glass has no chips or cracks and says \"Wolf\" on it and what looks like \"LOP\". The brass band on the bottom says Patent Friemann & Wolf and what looks like G. N. o. (or p.) H ZWICKAU (I?) /SA. There also appears to be a patent number of 1287592. I\'m not sure if it works or how to open it if it opens at all. The knob on the bottom turns freely and the thing that looks like a spring lever pushes in, but neither appear to do anything. I\'m not sure of the age, but it looks really early and appears to be from either the late 1800\'s or the very early 1900\'s. All in all a rare lamp with a really great antique look.
