Click to see supersized image Description I recently acquired some very interesting items from the Historic Armbrust House a Sullivan County Catskills Landmark. It operated as a boarding house in the mid 1800\'s up through the 1940\'s. Armbrust house was then purchased as a private family from Manhattan. This classic Victorian home had 29 bedrooms and overlooked Kenoza Lake.The home was sold and will be restored. I am selling many unique items from the home which had been stored in the home since the 1800\'s. Please check out my other items from this great estate. Just for fun I attached a image of an original post card of this home.
This is an original antique Victorian metal mesh box spring for old iron beds. It was stored in the attic and is in excellent condition for being 100+ years old. Most of these have been thrown away long ago. So if you need an antique box spring here is your opportunity. I have various sizes so if you need a specific size please contact me. This one still has the original Macy\'s tag. I have seen some great ideas for making these wine rack, pot racks, arbors, wall planters for the garden, restaurant decor, store displays, Bed Porch Swings etc. Let your inner artist come up with a one of kind idea. You will never find one in better original condition.. It is approximately 74 1/2 x 48 x 4 1/2 d and weighs about lbs.
Condition: Some surface rust. Please check out all photos to determine condition for yourself.
I am 2 1/2 hours from New York City. Just a beautiful ride up 17b or 97 in the Upper Delaware Valley Region. Local Pick Up Is Always Welcome.
Payment
Payment is due within 5 days of winning the sale. If payment is not received I reserve the right to relist the item. Please do not offer if you do not intend to complete the transaction, there are others that might like to purchase the item.
Shipping
Shipping is expensive. I do my best to keep the cost down but I will not ship without insurance so please don\'t ask. The shipping quote is based on shipping across the country. If you are closer and I find that the shipping cost is signifcantly less expensive I will refund you the difference via Pay Pal. In most cases your item will be shipped within 5 business days after payment. Life happens so if there is a delay I will notify you.
I am happy to combine shipping if that will save you money.
FREIGHT AND LARGE ITEMS
I am happy to work with you to arrange pick up from a shipping company. At this time I will not pack items for shipping. You will be responsible for all arrangements, fees and claims associated with the shipping company.
DELIVERY
In many cases we will offer curbside delivery within a 150 mile radius at $1.25 a mile as per map quest. If you are interested in delivery please contact us prior to offerding to make sure we are able to deliver to your location. Payment in full for the item and shipping is due prior to delivery.
LOCAL PICK UP IS ALWAYS WELCOME.
