THIS IS AN OLD LAMP, I ASSUME FOR MINING MADE BY THE PROTECTOR LAMP CO, TYPE 6 WITH A MAKER TAG ON IT COVERED BY ANOTHER NUMBER. IT\'S ABOUT 14\" LONG WITH THE ORIGINAL METAL HOOK, HAS A TIN TOP AND VERY HEAVY BRONZE METAL BASE WITH AN ADJUSTMENT THAT WOULD MOVE THE WICK FOR BRIGHTNESS. THE GLASS IS MARKED AS YOU SEE AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS WORKS! THERE SEEMS TO BE A FUEL FILL HOLE BUT THE COVER DOESN\'T CLOSE AS THERE IS A BAR BLOCKING IT,,, AS MADE EVIDENTLY AND SEE PICS.
