This is a nice New Haven Clock Co. gingerbread mantle clock made of carved wood in a lovely Gothic Steeple Design. The finish of the clock appears to have been \"restored\" long ago but has significant alligatoring to the finish (See photo\'s). The movement is a standard 8 day time and striking movement and will work for a few minuets but than stops, I have not tested to see if it keeps good time. A Cleaning and service will likely be required after being shipped (See statement below). The pendulum is a rare adjusting pendulum and it appears to be in good shape as well, included is also a key. The dial is original and made of painted tin, and does show the perfect amount of ware from age.

Antique clocks also commonly lose or gain a couple minuets every couple days, this is simply the nature of an antique clock, most however will keep near perfect time once properly adjusted.
