ANTIQUE OAK BENCH

For sale is a solid oak bench circa 1800\'s.

I purchased this bench, over 20 years ago, from a very old woman who collected antiques.

She told me it dated to 1847.

My local saleeer told me it dated to 1880, so I am not sure of exact age.

It was in very poor shape when purchesed, so I had it refinished, reglued and reupholstered.

The refinisher said he knows it is very old because he has never seen oak this high quality.

I am sorry to see this go but I am moving to smaller quarters and don\'t have room.

You won\'t be disappointed, it is solid like a rock.
