!!! Offered in this sale is an ANTIQUE REMINGTON PORTABLE TYPEWRITER BLACK w/ WHITE KEYS VINTAGE RARE STYLE NR. I looked for a model number, but could not find one. This typewriter measures approximately 9-1/2\" wide (10-1/4\" wide if you include the \"case base\" it is on) by 10-3/4\" deep (11-1/4\" deep if you include the case base) x 3-3/4\" high in the back. Sweet and slim looking little antique typewriter!! As far as mechanics go, I am not an expert on typewriters, but I can tell you this: when I use the space bar, the carriage moves freely as it should; when I return the carriage, it also moves freely as it should; the \"metal arms with the letters/numbers on it\" are very unique in that the whole things lifts up!! There is definitely some wear to the patina of this beautiful machine; the case itself has some noted shelf wear especially on the inside where there is a silky cloth lining and on one side it is a bit torn and coming up. The bottom of the case is actually affixed to the typewriter, with the case top attaching to it . . . that seems to work just fine as it should. Maybe a little tricky! The upper case/lower case lever works fine with the proper tension when I move it up and down. Other than that, I do note this definitely needs a good cleaning! Please remember, when buying vintage or pre-owned items, minor signs of use are to be expected. If you are into cleaning and general fixing, this could be just an outstanding beauty! Because buyer\'s opinions of an item\'s grade will differ, I\'ll leave it to you collectors to make the FINAL determination as to the condition.
