This is a remarkable set that is hand paintedover a blue transfer.You will be hard pressed to find another one of
these. The only set like this I could find of Moss Roseby R & M (ridgway & morley) sold in 2016. Isimply could not find a current one available.
Moss Rose was first introduced as a
dinnerware/china pattern some time around the
beginning of the 1800’s. The popularity of this styleof Moss Rose waned by the early 1900s. circa 1842-1850Measures Approx:
Cup: 2 3/4\" tall - 3 3/4\" diameterSaucer: 5 3/4\" diameter - 1\" deep*Stand NOT included.
Very Good. Wear due to age - blue edging on cup & saucer
have faded. Crazing on saucer and around bottom rim(foot) of cup.
Small chip on inside of saucer (not that noticeable).
Chip on back side of cup.
I found a tiny little \"nick\" when I ran my hand around
the underside of the rim of saucer. I make every effort to point out even the smallest of imperfections.If I miss any at all, it is not intentional. So please use the pictures aswell as part of the description.
