Set of two Antique / Old (1920\'s) Cast Iron Steel White Enameled Porcelain Ice Cream Parlor / Drugstore / Soda Fountain Swivel Bar Stools.

Gorgeous pair of old stools, cast iron & steel, swivel seats, round pedestal with 8\" round bases, mounting holes present (mount to floor) each stand approx. 27 1/2\" tall, swivel seats (simply rest inside pedestal) , swivel seats (turn) with ease, each measure approx. 11 1/2\" in diameter x 1 1/2\" tall. Seats are all cast iron & steel, no wood. Each of the stools have a weight of 20 + lbs..

Each have their original white enameled porcelain finish. Show no signs that they have ever been painted. Three of the screws in one of the seats appear as not original (as shown).

Considering their age & in comparison to the others shown in research, these are in quite rarely seen, wonderful condition, very sturdy, show some signs of age related wear to the porcelain finish, some loss of shine as well as scratches to the top of each seat. Some chipping is also present. One of the pedestals has an attached (by screw which can be removed) chrome finish ring which is broken off, which may have originally been some type of foot rest. Please note: dark blotches shown in the photos of the seat tops are only shadows.

These were purchased from a local estate sale, sold as both coming from a local area Drugstore dating in the 1920\'s.All research that I have found, indicates that the information provided would be accurate. Are as shown / similar, in a 1929 Hazeltime & Perkins Soda Fountain Supply Catalog / Sanitary Enameled Stools. I can find no identification marks, possibly marked on the underside of the seat mounts (which I have chosen to not remove), however I do believe these to have possibly been produced by The Chicago Foundry Hardware Co..
