Antique Square Cut Nails, Shoe or Picture Frame Hanover MA, Mass 1800\'s: $25.00
4lbs of Antique Circa 1880 square nails, 5/8\" long. Nails are wrapped in heavy brown paper and tied with string. Labels read 1Lb 6-8 in. Shoe Nails Made by Charles Dyer & Son Hanover, Mass. These are true square cut nails used in New England in the mid to late 1800\'s. These nails were used to construct shoes, small wooden picture frames, wooden boxes and other objects of the time. (I see these nails in small antique wooden picture frames and period items all the time). There are about 1000 nails per bag so aprox 4000 nails in all. Interesting piece of Massachusetts History. High offer pays $5.50 Priority shipping. US ship only, lower 48 states. PayPal payment. THANKS
