Up for sale is a antique Wilcox Gibbs Sewing Machine w/Foot Pedal, attachments and the direction manual. The sewing machine has some wear to it (see pictures). The turning part Is kind of stiff when I turned it by hand and it may need a Cleaning and some oil.
I Plugged It In and the motor makes a humming noise and the turning part looks like It wants to work but it does not, therefore, it will need some fixing or cleaning to get it to work but not sure. I will leave it up to the new owners to figure out what is exactly wrong with it.
It does come with the following attachments.
1. Wilcox Gibbs Tuckmarker with instructions but no box. The instructions are rippied in half (see picture). The tuckmarker looks to be complete.
2. One Wilcox Gibbs Linen or Flannel Hemmer attachment
3. TwoWilcox GibbsNarrow Hemmers
4. TwoWilcox GibbsWide Hemmers
5. Two Black guides
6. Two small wrenches
7. Three Crowley needles/ and small wooden needle box
8. small flat head screwdriver and i believe is a ruffler.
9. Lamp attachment no bulb. The lamp is clamp is broken (see picture).
