Original 12 inch wooden doll by Mason & Taylor of Springfield, Vermont circa 1870s.. The doll is jointed and works fine. She has painted metal hands and feet and paint is in good shape. one small chip to edge of wooden bottom. her black band is there.. Dolls head turns. Usually these dolls have cracked heads and damage. This one is really quite nice. i do not think it has been repainted or anything. There is one small area to the back top of head that has a very small chip.. 1/4inch. I believe the head was made from pressed wood. and the body from hardwood. please email is you have any questions. These dolls are hard to find in this condition. RARE
