Please note: ignore the shipping calculator, shipping costs are specified at the end of this description.This interesting flute is a cylindrical flute with Siccama-insprired keywork, in its original leather-covered case. Note how slender the head is in comparison to the sturdy body and keywork. Some years ago, the flute was cleaned, oiled and repadded. It had a lengthy crack in the head, which was repaired and has remained stable since. The flute was not played much since, however, and is possibly not fit anymore for intensive use. I expected the flute to play in Eb, but for me it does well in 440! Most probably it served in one of the many military bands needed in the British Empire.
