This first generation ipad is perfectly usable. The only negative is that its software can no longer be upgraded so many newer apps that are currently available are not able to run on it. It has always been kept in a cover, which is included but is in beat-up condition. The Ipad itself has a plastic protector over the screen, which it has had since it was new. This generation of Ipad does not include a camera.
