AquaLung HP Steel 100 Scuba Tank 3500 PSI With DIN Valve:
$118.50

In case you are wondering if this is a relist, I sold another tank that was from the same previous owner, so they look similar. This is a second tank.

This is a steel scuba tank. It will hold about100 cubic feet of air when filled to 3500 PSI. The markings stamped into the metal by the manufacturer are: DOT-E9791 3500 TP5250 512708 PST 06/95. So the original hydro pressure test was done inJune of 1995. The latest retest was done inJuly of 2007. It will need to be retested again before it can be used. The last visual inspection was done inSeptember of 2008.The tank bootwill beincluded. The outside of the tank is galvanized. Other than the previous owner\'s name being written in several places and other stickers that spell out LOVE RUNS DEEP, the outside has no real issues. I had an informal internal inspection done and the inside of the tank is OK. There are some rust spots on the inside, but according to the dive facility that looked at it for me, there is no pitting that would cause it to be failed. This kind of surface rust is common with steel tanks and can be removed using a tank wire brush. The tank valve was made by Aqualung. The on/off knob turns smoothly and there are no leaks. There is a little rust showing at the top of the neck where the valve screws in.
