Up for sale is a stunning, sterling silver, Ward Brothers bird brooch. There is beautiful etching all the way around the pin. It has 2 stones (not sure what they are, but one is dark blue and the other is a teal blue). I\'m not sure what type of bird that is, I\'ve seen it described as a flamingo, but I think it\'s more like a crane, heron or egret. This was an estate find and I\'m not an antique dealer or have any knowledge other than what other people are asking for this type of pin. So PLEASE study the photos carefully as they are the main part of the description. Please offer at your own discretion. This pin is quite large for Ward Brothers...it is 2\" (5cm) in diameter. Ward Brothers were based in Scotland and this pin is stamped WBS to reflect same. The only research is what I\'ve found online as to the age of this...comparing with similar pins.It is a beautiful piece and once it has a good cleaning, it will look even more stunning! Again, I have NOT cleaned it whatsoever (I\'ve watched too many episodes of Antiques Roadshow where it\'s been grilled into me).:) I will leave the cleaning part up to the new owner.Thank you for looking at my items and happy offerding!:)25mm (or 2.5cm) = 1 inch
