This sale is for one Authentic, Rare, Original Alton B. (Brooks) Parker 1904 Presidential Campaign Pin Back Button. Mr. Parker was the Democratic Candidate and lost this election to Theodore Roosevelt.

The button is 1 1/4\" and has a clear photo of Alton Parker set inside a golden Arch and Pillars with a Patriotic stars and stripes theme, in red, white and blue. When I look straight at the pin, there are no flaws. *** When I move the pin back in forth in the light, I can see a slight 1/2\" scratch from the pillar to his nose. When I touch the pin with my fingers, I cannot feel the scratch. The pin has it\'s original back paper on the back of the pin. It states, \" made by F.F. Pulver Co. , Buttons, Badges Rochester, N.Y.For a collection of Buttons send for catalogue. Patented Feb 17, 1903 April 19, 1904.\" There is a Union Bug at the Bottom of the paper that lists \" Allied Printing Trades Council Union Label Rochester\" with the number 19 at the bottom. This back paper is cut and placed off center and you can see the beginning of the next label to the right side. Also at the very top of this back paper, there are about 19 light marks that are a very light rust color.

This pin back campaign button is in great shape for an item that is 111 years old. It was stored all of these years in a box of collectible items and older historical buttons. I based the price of this button on research from a Hake\'s Political Buttons web site and the condition of this pin .( Alton B. It will be insured for the price paid, and Signature Confirmation will be required as described below. The buyer will be required to sign for this package. This item will be wrapped in tissue paper, bubble wrap, and placedbetween 2 pieces of sturdy cardboard and inserted in a waterproof Poly Bag. Due to it\'s age and that it is rare, I will then mail it in a Small Priority Flat Rate Box with Insurance and Signature Confirmation. I will pay the shipping expense since I want this item to be protected and arrive to you safely.

I will be sending this item by USPS. See my shipping policy below. For items that I ship with Signature Confirmation, I only mail them at the Post Office with a Postal Clerk who will complete the Signature Confirmation paper work correctly.
