This beautiful sombrero is in excellent condition. One of my fathers relatives traveled to Mexico, bought the sombrero and gave it to my father as a gift in the mid or late 1960\'s making the hat a little under 50 years old. It is woven from a fiber. The shells on the hat are real. The sombrero doesn\'t quite fit on my head, so I would call it a young adults sized hat. The dimensions of the brim of the hat are 13 and 3/4 inches by 11 and 1/2 inches. The overall height is 5 and 1/2 inches. The dimensions of the inside of the hat are 5 and 3/4 inches by 6 and 3/4 inches, not including the depth.
