General comments: overall, structurally, and cosmetically in excellent, mint condition +++. This trombone looks fabulous and plays great! She has a lovely, centered, classic Bach tone, enhanced by the superior Hagmann valve, that makes her play like a fab 60\'s rotary Bach. The Hagmann valve\'s openness and response (when the valve is engaged, and/or played as straight or natural trombone) just can\'t be beat! If you like traditional rotary valves - then the Hagmann plays better, more true to sound and feel than your best rotary style valve on the market. One of the qualities that I really like about this trombone is her beautiful sound, and super-centered response. She has a classic sound. Both outer tubes were replaced and refinished with new ones - so she looks absolutely new like. My repairman was right about the slide action! (and he is as critical as it gets!) When the hand slide arrived it was... yes, the hand slide IS a 10 out of 10! Of course she is, and why not?! The slide was optimized and hand assembled, better than the factory, and the work performed by the former Greenhoe head tech. A very straight-forward/solid instrument, perfect for solo, orchestra, and other large ensemble work. Her sound on Bolero and the Bordogni etudes is just even throughout! Articulation on La Gazza Ladra? You just can\'t beat the Hagmann valves!!Bell: great condition overall, the lacquer looks to being 99.99% throughout. Cosmetically a 9.99 out of 10. Slide: 100% nickel chrome plated inner tubes, with 100% lacquer, new in appearance. Slide action: a 10 out of 10! :-)Serial number: 183xxx (2005 pre-strike)Case: in excellent condition. The latches and zippers all work. The interior is in really excellent condition (see pictures) as well. Includes the original Hagmann valve instructions/info.
