Up for sale is this Vintage Clambroth/Opaline Barber Shop Jar marked on the outside in silver overlay script \"Antiseptic\" with a red painted star underneath. Red star has some paint loss as seen in pic. This jar has its original siver metal top. This jar measures 5\" in height and has a diameter of 3\". Height with top on is 6 1/2\".
Condition of jar is very good ..no chips, cracks or repairs. The metal top has some small dents in the knob on top and around the edge and some wear on the metal itself. The inside rim is a bit bent...see pic. The silver overlay is all present and in good shape and the paint on the star is in similiar condition. The jar has a series of indentations towards the bottom that bevels as they get to the bottom.
This came directly from a well preserved barber shop and I have more bottles and some other items that I will be listing. Watch my sight!
