Each of the letters is foundry marked \" BB&S - 60 - Chicago \"

They are solid metal and heavy for their size.

Also included in this lot is a Wood Backed one with ( what I would consider ) a \" FRAME \" design. It appears that there was something removed from in the center of the framed area ... I have no idea. The center is ground down and will not appear on print.

I\'ve had these for years and never used them myself.

I do not clean the patina off anything I sell as I feel that the decision of removing patina is up to the buyer.
