Beau Allen Philadelphia Eagles 2014 Rookie Game Worn & Signed Black & Silver Nike Cleats
Beau Allen is a nose tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin.
Allen was an all-state selection by the Associated Press as a senior at Minnetonka High school with a team-best 89 tackles, seven sacks, three forced fumbles, two blocked field goals and one blocked punt. The talented athlete also played hockey, lacrosse and participated in track and field in high school and was a member of the 2009 Minnesota state champion lacrosse team.
Allen played a few different positions at Wisconsin, most recently nose guard as a senior when the Badgers switched to a 3-4 base defense. Over his four seasons at UW, Allen recorded 94 tackles (15 for loss), eight sacks and one forced fumble. At 6’3, 325 pounds, he was a natural fit to plug holes for opposing offenses. Allen was nicknamed “The Polar Bear” at Wisconsin, due to his size and northern heritage.
Allen set a school record with 54 games played, having never missed a contest in his college career. Allen was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection (2011-13) and consensus All-Big Ten honorable mention choice. (2012-13) Allen was also one of the most unique personalities to come from Wisconsin in some time, as evidenced by the “12 Months of Beau” calendar he recommended creating in an interview with B5Q in April.
Allen contributed immediately during his rookie campaign with the Eagles as a member of the team’s defensive line rotation. The nose tackle posted 15 tackles while playing 17% of the defensive snaps. He notched the first sack of his NFL career, helping bring down Ryan Fitzpatrick in a win at Houston on November 2nd, 2014. In 2015, he played 16 games with 2 starts, finishing the year with 28 tackles and 2 passes defended.
On September 11, 2016 Allen entered a game against the Cleveland Browns on offense, lining up as the team\'s fullback. The Eagles were able to score a touchdown behind Allen\'s blocking. Beau finished the 2016 year with 29 tackles and 0.5 sacks.
The featured black and silver nike cleats were game worn by Beau Allen in 2014, his rookie season as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. The powerful nose tackle has signed both cleats and added “Game Worn” to the right one in silver. The cleats were taped up and show good use.
