The last Pat. date is1889 on this Mira Music Box, it plays 18.5” disc’s. This Box has NO missingteeth on its combs. It has speed control and start/stop levers. It is inbeautiful condition and plays beautifully with that distinct and desirable Mirasound quality. It comes with the stand (which is described below) and 31 nice disc’sin great condition.
I think that themusic box has been professionally serviced at some point in the past, as wellas the mechanism, and both were done very, very, well. You be the judge.
The music box base was, I believe, originally for a Stella. It is adarker color then the music box and the interior has been slightly modified tohold the slightly larger 18.5” Mira disc’s compared to the 17” Stella disc’s. It is very ornate and can be displayedanywhere in the room. Although this isin excellent shape, it has marks and wear as one would expect from a music boxstand of this age and use.
