Up for sale is a used Bell & Howell Filmosound 179 tube amplifier from an old projector. It is a part number 14027. These amplifiers are popular for conversion to guitar or harp amps. This one is cosmetically very good.
This is the amplifier only. There is no power cord. It is being sold for parts or repair.
This amp is being sold as is, as found, and untested. Do not plug this amp in without first being serviced by a qualified technician.
The tubes are three 6V6GT,one 5Y3GT, and one 6SL7GT, PEC tube, 6J7. These tubes wereNOT tested.
