This bike will be shipped disassembled. A few basic tools and mechanical knowledge will be neededto reassemble the bike and make any needed adjustments. Please keep this in mind when offerdingDescription:
The lower cross bracket on the frame appears to have been welded and repainted.The weld isn\'t the best, but it does get the job done. Bike is being sold AS-IS due to the repair.As with any used bicycle, expect to see some cosmetic blemishes throughout the finish and components.In the album below, I highlight (closeup pics) of the heavier wear. It is unrealistic for me to note/pictures every blemish...So expect to see scuffs and scratches throughout the frame, finish, and components.Some of the scratches/scuffs to the finish are on the deeper side and go down to the bare metal.
The bike was tested from a stationary position and the bike pedals smoothly.The rims rotate smoothly and do not show an excess wobble or movement (spokes may need to be tuned).
The seat shows some wear towards the back. The seam at the rear bottom has come loose a bit.
Tires are in poor condition and will need to be replaced.The side walls of the tires have cracks. The tubes seem to hold air well.

**Our area has a heavy presence of puncturevine (goat heads), so the tubes may been patched or filled with sealant at one point. We do not remove the tires/tubes to check.**A note on bike shops: The majority of Bike shops work on high margins. In other words, they charge an excessive amount for extremely simple repairs. To re assemble a bike after shipping will take three tools and about ten minutes. Fine tuning it will take another ten minutes. Bicycle Shops routinely charge $150 for reassembly and much more for tuning. So... If you do not have the needed tools and Skills to make repairs and adjustments, please do not offer. If you cannot assemble tune and repair a bike on your own, do not offer. The cost of a bike shop to do these will things will be excessive and make the bike not worth the price.
