Book matched pair of stabilized Buckeye Burl wood knife scales. 3 3/4\" x 1 5/8\" x 1/4\" (+/- 1/32\"). We do our best to select the best pieces from our inventory of Burls but wood is never stable. It expands and contracts with changes in humidity. Wood can contain drying checks or cracks. Burl may have cracks, voids, inclusions. Buyer should be familiar with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for filling small cracks, and epoxy for large cracks.
