British WW2 rubber cross piece for Doughboy & Turtle helmet liners. Very scarce.: $14.99
British World War2 doughboy helmet liner crosspiece. Also called \"X\" dome pad. This sale is for one crosspiece. Photos show the front, smooth head rest side, and the backwith four corner buffersthat fit onto the liner bands. The domecrosspiece is part of the liner assemblywhich is bolted onto the helmet shell. These were made in 1943 and are new, never used. Excellent condition. An important helmet part which is many times missing in the doughboy or early turtle shellsthat use the nut &screw to secure the liner. May have storage talcum powder. The British covered these dome crosspieces with talcum powder for long term storage. A hard to get and almost rare part necessary for helmetrestoration. Shipping anywhere in the United States is free. Worldwide shipping is listed under the Shipping tab. I combine shipping on multiple orders.
