This tripod sits on 3 pins for solid setup on a concrete factory floor. It lifts with a foot pedal onto wheels for easy setup and transport. It telescopes up to 65\" I have modified it so that the foot pedal mechanism is no longer obstructing the path through the telescoping column to the floor so that you can plummit from your T2 Theodolite to a monument in the floor.I have also modified the top of the telescoping column (3 1/2\" threads) so that it rotates and locks with a thumb screw to aid in setup. I have 3 of these heavy tripods for sale. I have used them to layout and align 5 Pipe Mills since 2005 and now it is time to downsize and start to sell off some of my precision equipment. I am a Construction Millwright with 43 years experience specializing in Optical Tooling, alignment and layout. If you want to do good work you need good tools. This stand would also be perfect if used with a laser tracker or laser scanner. A few minor blemishes but nothing that would hamper the operation.
