Up for sale is a used Buffet R13 Professional Bb B-flat Clarinet (with nickel keys) in Excellent Condition! If you are looking for an R13, I am sure you are well aware of the quality of Buffet products. This is a professional grade Clarinet, but is still a great instrument for serious high school or college students. I am the original owner of this clarinet (purchased in 2006) and used this instrument all the way through graduating college last year. This Clarinet is fully functioning and has no flaws in the wood, cracks, chip. It went through an inspection and re-padding in mid 2013. There are some sign of natural wearing (faded keys, dulled Buffet logo), but none of this affect the play-ability of the instrument. The bottom joint Serial Number is 540171 (manufactured in approximately 2005). The upper joint does not have a Serial Number as when I purchased this clarinet, the original top joint was not available (most likely due to damage) and was replaced with a genuine part by Buffet. When joints are replaced by Buffet, serial numbers are not stamped. I have been assured that the same wood was used for the replacement joint due to the timing of the purchase and this has not affected my ability to use the clarinet through the years.
