This is a high quality well made boom mower, great for ditches, banks, roadways, ponds, lakes, fence lines. It hooks to any category 1 or 2 tractor 3 point hitch and PTO. The unit has all of its own self contained pumps, tanks, controls, valves, and linkages so it can work with any tractor.
It is very versatile, the mower can rotate completely in any direction to cut on both sides of a guardrail or fence, both facing tractor or cutting away from tractor, and easily reaches over fences. Very adjustable, will work with any tractor over 3000 lbs, but manufacturer recommends over 4000 lbs. In some of the pictures you see it on my 2600 lb 27 hp tractor, and it handled it with no wheel weights and not liquid in tires but it was definitely heavy for it when fully extended.
Comes with everything you need to start using it right away, and comes with a extra control and linkage as well as protective shields for the windows of a John Deere tractor (5093 I believe). There are no leaks at all. The chisels or cutters could use sharpening. The bearings in the guide roller could use being replaced although not necessary unless you let it sit on the ground while mowing.
