Rare c. 1910 Charles T. Wilt Company Chicago \"Gable-Ended\" luxury steamer wardrobe/valet trunk. All original interior with original fabric covering, grey velvet lining and satin ribbon ornamentation. Four sliding drawers, one with compartments, multiple pouches, folding \"desktop,\" original C. Wilt hardwood hangers. All straps in place and working. No missing parts.

Model AA1, serial number 2663. \"Chas. T Wilt Company 173 W. Madison St. 226 S. Michigan Ave. Chicago.\" With some partial Railway Express Agency labels remaining indicating the trunk traveled from Texas to California.

A great piece, rarely found this complete and in this condition. All copper corner fittings and rivets, original lock and key. 44 1/2 inches tall, 23 inches wide and 20 3/4 inches deep. Possibly repainted.
