c 1955 Guild \"Aristocrat\" thinline hollow electric guitar.....all parts look original except for an old after market Gold bridge....
**** Please note...I was told by a collector, the P/U\'s are not \"Franz\" brand P/U\'s.....the back plates look original, which is what made me believe they are the old P/U\'s....The collector said c early 70\'s Gibson P/U\'s......I have no idea...I don\'t know the history of this guitar.....So, I\'ll say this:#1...Whatever the heck the P/U\'s are, they sound wonderful, and those ARE old orig. P/U covers & back plates.......#2...Price is WAY below current \"Fair Market Value\" to reflect any and all issues, concerning this guitar, Making this guitar an excellent \"no Brainer\" buy.....For the $$$ ?......It is a VERY cool old Guild, in nice shape....**********I tried to take as many detail photos as possible....some binding has cracked in a few places, and some fretboard binding wasreglued....but ALL bindings are stable, with no \"rot\"...there is a small hole under thepick guard, where a screw was put to hold up thepick guard to a certain angle ( I am guessing )....Has a little wear as you can see, but is overall pretty clean....This has sat for 30 years in acollection, and pots / switch, etc ALL need to be cleaned....I have done so once, and everything works, but will need to be properly cleaned at some point...It\'s SIXTY years old, so.....Has an old non-original hard case, that was shaped for some other guitar, but the hips grabs this guitar PERFECTLY, and protects it well...snug, but not tight....
I see these in the $4,000 / $4,500 range all the time...So......to reflect what few issues it actually has....will put on sale for a great price....PRICE REDUCED
