I am selling my 1961 C350 Shield Bantam crawler backhoe, serial number 10245. I have owned Bantams since 1961 when I went to the factory in Waverly Iowa and brought one home. Everything is adjusted perfectly, both brake and clutches are in good working order and so are the clutches and Brake underneath that control the tracks.
I put new needle bearings on all the yokes that slide on the cones to engage all the clutches.
There is no slack or play on the hook rollers. Both clutch adjustment wrenches are in the machine as is both track wrenches. There is no broken glass. The original book is with the machine also.
The drive sprockets are almost new along with new drive chains. I have four buckets for it, 24\" brand new 30\" 36\" and a 42\" all of the buckets came from the Nebraska Sandhills and they have never seen a rock. It is hard to believe that I found a brand new 30 inch Bucket from a friend of mine, also in Nebraska. It was strapped down to a pallet on top of a flatbed trailer in his yard behind his shop. It weighs about 20000# The only thing wrong with machine is a little rust on the cab. It is stored inside my shop in Kadoka South Dakota. Kadoka his located 90 miles east of Rapid City South Dakota on Interstate 90 exit 150.

It is street-legal, I believe it is exactly 8 ft wide so it can be carried on a truck with no over width permit needed. If you want a good old antique operational backhoe this Bantam is it. I am living in Texas and I can be on the phone with whoever buys it so you can successfully get it out of my shop and loaded. I have a 85 year old friend that can unlock my shop and be there when you take it out.
