Etched blade is stamped with the Weyersberg kings head mark.
Etching patterns are geometric, floral, a Federal Eagle with E. Pluribus Unum ribbon and foliate.
The reverse etching is geometric, floral, a stand of arms with shield, flags and a Liberty Cap.
It finishes with foliate.
No pitting, etching is visible.
The front etching is very good, clear and sharp.
The hilt is cast brass as is the guard with a gold wash that is largely worn off.
Silver MS letters applied to the langet.
The all brass scabbard has cast brass mounts with double carry rings on the top mount and a single ring on the middle mount.
The scabbard is very nice, shows use, no dents.
Nice patina
Has not been polished or refinished in any way.
