Good condition for a c. 1840 Empire couch. The wood has scratches. The velvet material has imprints where objects where on it while it was not being used. The imprints will change if you brush the velvet and sit on it. You then will get new different imprints. The arm on the left in the first photo is a little lighter due to sunlight before I bought it 15 years ago. This is a 170 year old antique and not something new. The reason that I\'m selling it for an inexpensive price is due to the wear on the velvet.
