Here is a good working Cobra 148-GTL mobile cb radio made in TAIWAN. Thisradio is from an sale. This radio is totallystockand is in poor cosmetic condition. This radio is not modified. Myradio checks over the air tell me this radio sounds great onAM and SSB. All controlswork as they should including the meter, but one segment burnt out in the ten\'s digit at top. Output shows 4- watts on AM,and about 10 to 12 watts on SSB. My friends tell me over the air, that this radio sounds clear on audio. The bezel and face look real nice, but case covers have lots of scratches, and blemishes from lots of wear, and there is a slot cut in the lower right side case cover with a grommet in it. I was told the slot was for a freq. counter at one time. The rear of this radio has a plug in it(center rear) and unknown what for, and a small hole above plug. This radio shows on frequency on my inline freq. counter. This radio alsohasvery nice receive on it. This radio comes witha new heavy power cord, a used cobra 5-pin microphone, and a used mounting bracket. I do not know anything other than i was told some work had been done to this radio. This radio won\'t be D.O.A., but is being sold as is, so what you see in the pictures is what you will receive. I only ship to the lower 48 states.
