You are offerding on a 30 inch composition doll from the National Doll Co.. Many N.D. dolls are misidentified as being from the National Doll Co., when they are mostly from the Natural Doll Company. The National Doll Company was opened in New York City in 1923. The company closed in 1925. There is no accurate information as to how many dolls where produced. The logo, which is pictured, is remarkably distinct and has a crown over the C in company. This distinguishes it from the other brands. There are only unsubstantiated claims as to the number of dolls produced during the companies short run. During the last 3 years of exhaustive library and internet research, including continuous google image searches, and calls to museums, I have been able to find no other dolls manufactured by the National Doll Company of New York City, and no images to match this doll.
