Continental 7 Cylinder Airplane Radial Engine. Model R670-5. Manufactured date: Oct. 26, 1941. Engine is very complete, missing only the magnetos. The starter isintact. There are no log hooks. The engine mounting is in place as well. This is a seven cylinder Radial Engine used in a fairly common Stearman bi-plane. The nose of the crankshaft does have the big screwdriver slot in the end which is indicative of an airplane and not a tank engine. Engine turns over freely with no binding or clunking. Great for a museum, or a coffee table (check online for Continental Radial Coffee Table), or if you need a very complete rebuildable core.
