Vintage 1950\'s Beauty Babydoll
20\" Mystery Doll with Shirley Curls!

This full size babydoll is a real Beauty with incredibly lustrous blonde saran hair that\'s still in the original curls. She was most likely a Shirley Temple lookalike with all those dark blonde curls and her big brown amber eyes. (She doesn\'t have dimples though.)

The doll is unmarked on her body or neck, so she\'s something of a mystery. She\'s made of very good quality materials throughout. From the materials used, I would guess that she\'s a Canadian Pullan doll (because of the incredible hair) or possibly a Sayco doll (because of the classic standard doll body that was typical of Sayco.)

She may have been sold as a Department store doll at Christmas time: department store dolls were often unmarked, and only the box and doll tags ID\'d her.

She was probably made in the late 1950\'s. The head is made of soft vinyl and the body, arms and legs are hard vinyl. The head has darkened to a pleasant tan: this is typical of vinyl from the early to mid 1950\'s. I don\'t think she\'s had a body-swap, she\'s just a transitional doll with different kinds of vinyl from the 1950\'s.

She has full lashes, eyes are bright and clear, face paint is lovely, hair is gorgeous, her dress is in lovely condition. The dress is vintage but not original. She also has panties and booties to wear. She is almost 20 inches tall. She\'s jointed at neck, shoulders and hips.
