This listing is for a FINISHED resin replica of \"The First Blade\" from Supernatural.
Buyer can choose a \"dark\" or \"light\" version similar to the pics shown as examples. Your prop will be custom painted after you order and will take about 2 weeks to make. Once your prop is ready, it will be mailed by USPS PRIORITY MAIL with Delivery Confirmation.
The \"Dark Version\" and has a reddish brown oxidized color to it - I tried to give it an old blood stained look. The \"Light Version\" will have more of an aged/dirty bone color to it. Your prop will be hand painted and sealed with a protective matte finish and is about 18 inches long.
Since each each First Blade is custom painted for the buyer, there will be some variation from those pictured.
The prop is all one piece - the handle is designed to look like leather. With each custom blade I make I seek to capture the rugged and aged look of a blade that has literally been around since the dawn of man - and murder......a blade that has been to hell and back. I have also worked very hard to make sure you have the most recent - screen accurate - version of the First Blade possible.Many, MANY months were spent developing this prop so that you can have the most accurate \"First Blade\" possible. This prop is extremely durable, lightweight, and built to withstand any cosplay and comic-con adventure.
This is no cheap thin piece of plastic - it will withstand A LOT of abuse. The first one out of the mold has been rigorously tested by my children and has survived drops on concrete, being used as a baseball bat, thrown across our rocky yard and being used as a digging tool - among other things.
Over the course of Season 9 and into season 10, the First Blade prop was modified several times by the prop department of \"Supernatural\". As the prominence of the First Blade in the story arc increased, so did the need for more close-ups and more interaction with the actors. Many parts of the prop evolved; the First Blade\'s length increased, intricate details and textures were added, the hilt/handle leather pattern changed, the blade colors were altered and subtle tribal markings were added. As a result I was (and still am) constantly refining the mold to make it the best one out there.
