I don\'t know if you have a hankering for a medium-slow long rod for float tubing, but this sure might fill that niche. Custom wrapped by a local fisheries biologist many moons ago, this rod has about an 8 1/2\" grip (fairly narrow, too). The action is outstanding. A graceful medium to medium-slow tempo rod that throws a lot of line for the patient caster. It needs some TLC before any serious use, but it definitely has potential as a lake or nymphing rod. These older Fisher blanks are amazing.
