This made about 20-25 years ago CUSTOMHANDMADE NON-GAS POWERED TETHER MIDGET SPINDIZZY RACER is in Excellentoriginal condition. The 19-inch long racer has a nicely formed wooden body,frame and radiator. The belly pan and hood are formed from aluminum. Theexhaust pipe is copper and brass. The aluminum grill has soldered verticalbars. The aluminum dash is cutout for the gauges and steering wheel. The woodenseat is covered in a vinyl material. The solid rear axles arehoused in a brass tube. The leaf springs are handmade, and show light surfacerust. The rear rubber tires are reproduction “DoolingBros.” and the fronts are reproduction “Voit” tires. The ‘turned’ aluminumwheels appear to be vintage McCoy Invader hot rod wheels.

This is avery nice handmade tether racer that has never had a motor mounted. I havehad this race car for about 20-25 years. It will make a beautiful displaypiece, or a really nice custom racer with a motor installed. Either way youwill be happy when you race it into either your Spindizzy or tether race cartoy collection.
