This is a vintageBoston Storehat box. I purchased several hundred hat boxes at a recent local estate sale. The woman to whom they belonged had dreamed of opening her own vintage clothing store. She had purchased the hat boxes overthe course of several decades. Sadly, her dream never came to fruition. Consequently, I will be offering several lots of hat boxes as well as some individual hat boxes for sale. This box is 16 inches in diameter and7 inches tall.Its exterior has some age-related issues...i.e. tape has been pulled off of the lid just above the lettering, small scratches and scuffs, tiny missing pieces of paper, minor wear to the edges, etc. The interior of this box is nice and clean.
