Up for sale is a set/pair of #291 64cc SBC Cylinder Heads. Dated Aug. 1967. These heads are dated H157 and H177 (8/15/1967 and 8/17/1967). They have stayed together their entire life no doubt. I acquired these heads on a mild street engine and put a lot of $$ in them a while back. I ran them in a classic street ride for about a year during the warm months only. Mostly weekends. ADULT driven only. They have maybe 3 to 5k miles on them since being completely reworked. Have been kept in sealed bags ever since we removed them. Very slight surface rust as is on any cast iron part that sits.Details:
1) They have had a very nice (and expensive) custom port job done. Intake runners are very smooth.2) They have the BIG 2.02 and 1.60 valves.3) Hardened seats installed for unleaded gas.4) High lift springs good up to .500 lift.5) One accessory hole for alternator.6) The studs are the original pressed fit. Studs have not been modified.7) They come with a set of stamped steel roller rockers.8) Just clean the mating surfaces and they are bolt on ready to go.
These are the classic hot rod nostalgic muscle heads from the 1960`s era and would make a very nice add on to any restoration project or just a great performance add on to your small block chevy. A lot of money was put into these heads in machine work alone. They ran awesome and made good HP when pulled.
