Note these are \'Driver Wheel Patterns\'(the centers). These allow a shrink of 1/8\" to the foot when used to make cast iron drivers for the model, these \'centers\' on thefull sized engines were used on some earlyNYC 4-8-2\'s alsoD&LW4-8-4\'s(70\" with tire)also chosen forthe Timken4-8-4 \"Four Aces\" engine(73\" over tire) The center crankpin boss is correct for a 3.75\"stroke (possible 3.875\")= 3.75\" scales correct to 30\" stroke. These were done for me back in the 1970\'sby a master patternmakerat $4800-The driver set are one piece patterns-see pic.1 - pic.2 shows heavy (main) & medium(intermediate) - pic.3 shows light counterweight driver.
