Early Stone Plaster Statue Samurai Figure Japanese Warrior Hallmarked

Offered is very nice vintage statue of a Japanese Samuruai Warrior.  It is hallmarked on the front; please refer to photo #9.  I do not know the origin or the exact age of this piece.  The hallmark should help you identify it if you are familiar with Japanese markings.

Measures about 10 3/4 inches high and about 4 1/2 inches wide.

I am not certain of what this figure is made from.  At first glance it looks like stone of some sort and if you tap the surface it sounds like metal.  It is not metal and it is not a synthetic material like resin.  It is some type of heavy plaster.  There is a drilled hole on the underside of the statue;  I am sure it is part of the manufacturing process.

The statue is in good condition.  There are no breaks or repairs.  It is a little dusty dirty and has some minor wear to the surface.
